Research Assistant Vacancy, SRHE funded project University of Greenwich

Natalia Rumyantseva, Ruth Ballardie and Ratnes Alakahone University of Greenwich, are looking to appoint a research assistant (RA) with proven experience of thematic coding of interviews. You will be assisting with a small scale project  funded by the Society for Research into Higher Education. The title of the project is  ‘Managerialism and academic professional autonomy. The case of lecture capture technology’. The RA will be conducting literature search, creating an annotated bibliography using referencing software, processing quantitative and qualitative data, and conducting thematic coding of interviews using NVIVO. The total duration of the appointment is around 27 working days spread between February and August 2020. We would like to  hear from individuals with proven and relevant research skills (literature search, interview thematic coding and data management) and training in a social sciences to a minimum of M.A. level.  Preference will be given to applicants with Ph. D. and prior experience of working on funded qualitative projects that involved data coding. Location is less important as we are prepared to work with you via technology.
